Description

Rens de Winter (1995) showed an early interest in music. At the age of 10 he received his first organ lessons, later piano lessons were added. He is currently taking piano lessons with Lennart Morée. Rens is currently conductor at Chr. Mixed Choir 'Soli Deo Gloria' and Youth Choir 'Cantica Nova' in Alphen a/d Rijn and Vocal Ensemble 'Vocális' in Lisse / Leiderdorp. He is also a permanent pianist at Youth Choir 'Tehillah' in Dordrecht. From 2015 to 2019 he was conductor at Children's Choir 'Harpe Davids' in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht. Rens regularly participates in concerts as a pianist and organist. He is regularly asked to accompany choirs as well as soloists and instrumentalists. He has also contributed to more than ten CD recordings, including an organ-grand piano CD with organist Jan Rozendaal, with whom he regularly collaborates. In his spare time he writes and arranges music.
