Collective Buma scheme
The affordable choice for choirs, bands, orchestras!
What is more fun than singing in a choir? Or making music in an orchestra or band? Or dancing with your dance group to great music? Rehearsing together, performing together and letting your audience enjoy music, singing and/or dancing!
You pay a fee for the use of this music during rehearsals, competitions and your own performances, also known as 'Buma rights'.
Who needs a Buma government?
It is actually very simple. If a choir belongs to a church and only sings during those services, then it falls under the church's regulations for the service. However, if the choir also sings somewhere else, for example in a nursing home or participates in a choir festival, in short, anything that falls outside the service, then they need their own regulations.
This compensation is based on the number of members per calendar year. The starting point is that you make music with your association as a leisure activity.
With the CSM KoormuziekNL Collective Buma scheme you can quickly and cheaply arrange your 'Buma rights' in one go. With a rate of €8.65 per member per year, the CSM KoormuziekNL Collective is the most advantageous collective Buma scheme. (Rate 2024. Rates are indexed annually by BumaStemra)
