Collection: Missa Brevis (Zonnenberg)

The term missa brevis can have multiple meanings. Literally it means short mass. What started with one composition for an Easter concert grew over the years into a Missa Brevis with the usual 5 parts, written for mixed choir, 1 or 2 soloists and accompaniment. The 'Agnus Dei' and the 'Kyrie' are Romantic in concept, because according to Martin the texts demand it. The other parts are written in the Classical style, early Mozart. The orchestral music is available on request.
The work takes about 20 minutes.(1) Lord, have mercy on us. Christ, have mercy on us. (2) Holy. The Lord, the God of hosts! Heaven and earth are full of your glory.(3) Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

The songs can also be ordered individually.
