Star That Shall Rise (When The Stars Burn Down) does not seem to be an obvious hymn of praise at first. The Earth is passing away! But it immediately becomes clear; we may know ourselves accepted by the infinite God, who has all power and strength in eternity! That is why we may sing a song about the end of times with worship in our hearts, and a view of that eternity. When in the heart of the song bursts forth: Star that shall rise, light of liberation, our Lord... then this may be an exclamation filled with gratitude. Not many songs have the perspective of eternity in this way; the phenomenal climax only makes it more beautiful.
