Description
'Alpha & Omega' began for composer and singer Adrian Snell as a musical work that grappled with conflicts and wars in the world after a visit to Bergen-Belsen. During the work, Adrian placed these conflicts and darkness in a larger context, in which the reconciliation story between God and man is told. 'Alpha & Omega' has become by far Adrian Snell's best-known choral work over the years; partly due to the popularity of songs such as 'I Am The Way', 'Lord Have Mercy' and the title song 'Alpha & Omega'. 'Lord Have Mercy' is still sung in Dutch churches today (as 'Vader Vol Van Vrees en Schaamte').
