Writer Harrie Stijf: "Petrus... a man who evokes a lot of recognition. A man who is recognizable by a number of elements. His sometimes impulsive reactions, his naivety, his presence, his 'drive' in life... I recognize this in my life too. I also understand a lot of the choices he made and why he made them. He was also a man from whom I could/can learn a lot. And that is precisely why I wrote a project about him. Inspired by the Bible, especially the Bible in Common Language, and various literature, I was guided by these special stories. A quest. And that quest is also the journey in our lives. Do we follow Jesus? Do we want to follow Him? And what does this quest entail? It inspired me to create this fantastic project. It is an anniversary gift for the choir Jedid-Jah from Putten.
