Description

Although the arrangement of 'There at the head of the table' seems to paint a peaceful picture of the last supper that Jesus had with his disciples, tragedy resounds in the text. The disciple speaking does more than describe; he knows in the end that the disciples together - not just Judas - have failed their master, despite the militant words.
