Composer David Haas inspired this sensitive song with folklore influences by the Bible passages Hebrews 6 verse 4 and Psalm 34. It became an invitation to the table of the Lord; a reminder of the heavenly gift that we were allowed to receive and therefore celebrate. The text continuously calls us to participate in that celebration of the Lord's Supper and also explains how our lives connect to this moment. A beautiful, intimate choir song with short solo singing pieces that string together the verses.
