General: Composer Jeffery L. Ames is an expert in the field of gospel music, and this arrangement shows it. Although suitable for any mixed choir with only piano accompaniment, as the song progresses it feels as if a full band has joined in and the choir has grown spontaneously. With lots of antiphonal singing for soloists, an energetic piano part and a powerful choir arrangement, it is already difficult to listen to this song with resignation. The swinging ending, with room for clapping along, makes it impossible. Rejoice lives up to its name. Rejoice!
