Collection: Lennart Moree

Born in Rotterdam in 1988, pianist Lennart Morée received his first music lessons at the age of six. He received his first piano lessons from André Keijzer. He then took improvisation lessons from Jan Bonefaas, among others. He later studied at the conservatory with Mila Baslawskaja and Bernard Winsemius. He also followed masterclasses with Willem Tanke and Jean Bernard Pommier.

Lennart regularly performs as an accompanist, but also as a soloist. He performed at concerts in De Doelen in Rotterdam, among others.

Lennart graduated cum laude in 2012 for his master's degree in piano at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Stéphane De May. He has a special interest in improvising and composing. For example, he graduated with a study of the style of the French composer Claude Debussy (1862-1918), resulting in a number of compositions in the style of Debussy. In the autumn of 2013, his debut album 'Metamorphosis' was released with compositions and transcriptions in various styles, from Bach to Debussy.
