Collection: 35 years of Oslo Gospel Choir

Conductor Tore Aas started the Oslo Gospel Choir 30 years ago and since then the choir has been regarded as a worldwide example. It has performed with Norwegian princesses, at the Olympic Games and with a variety of international artists. The power of the Oslo Gospel Choir lies in the music and the experience; you rarely come across a choir that brings such high quality and makes you go home singing. Whether it is swinging gospel, stirring worship or intimate sing-alongs. Unique in this is that the choir still consists of many original members. It is rightly called a singing family. The choir radiates that bond from the stage, which is transferred to the audience. Warmth, solidarity and encouragement are therefore typical keywords for an evening with the Oslo Gospel Choir! For its 25th anniversary, the Oslo Gospel Choir released a special CD: 'God Gave Me A Song'. The title song was the 'anniversary song'. Around the 30th anniversary, the world premiere of the Musical 'Messiah' took place, containing no less than 28 new songs. Tore (pronounced: Toere) Aas worked regularly with gospel greats such as Andrae Crouch as the choir's lyricist.
